What Do you Edit With?

So I'm just wondering what types of programs everyone uses for their editing.

Personally I use mostly Adobe CS6 with the exception of Premiere and Photoshop which are CC2015.

Do you think there are better programs that can be used? Any opinion is good input. :)

Haha like I said, Just curious, always room to learn. sometimes other programs have better functionality for different situations.

Well I guess Resolve would be the best for color grading but I only recommend it because it's free.

For Video: Adobe CC for my ultrawide and more advanced standard content. Vegas for the simple stuff. I like how it feels but that's just me.

For Audio: Audacity, Acid and Magix.

For Images: PS or Gimp depending on my mood.

Acid is an audio editing program like Audacity but different. Magix is a music maker like Fruity Loops

Studio One is not proficient for producing.I use Studio One for my main work(mixing and mastering) and the I switch over to Ableton for Producing.IMO studio one's MIDI is just laid out so horribly and it has terrible automation

FL STUDIO or Ableton.Waveform is pretty good option and so is Reason now that they have VST support.Just stay away from Pro Tools and Studio one as those 2 are more of mastering engines than composition tools

I use Krita for drawing (also kinda editing?), Gimp for photo editing and NotePad++ for text editing :)
