Am I ok with this build?

Hello! I want to get into PC gaming at an affordable price. I have made a list of parts from Amazon that I think would equal to a good *enough* gaming PC. I am not looking to run games at maximum settings. I just want to play some great games at 720p or 1080p with low or medium settings. This is my first time with making a PC, so I do not have a lot of knowledge about if the parts in the builds would work together or not. I spent a while trying to assemble all the parts I need for a little while now for a little over $300. I would just like it for a second pair of eyes to look through it too to make sure it is ready to buy and that nothing is missing. Thank you! Here is my build:

At that price point you'd be better buying something like an old i5 optiplex and throwing in a 1050/1050ti.

for the gpu at least I would highly, HIGHLY recommend the used market at your price range. a 1030 is honestly just too anemic for gaming. It's a display card in all seriousness. You can find many other options with far better performance.

Snip

Do not buy a GTX 1030.... save the money on that expense, get a Pentium G4600 (better IGPU) and use that for a display adapter until you can afford a proper GPU. Use the rest of the money to upgrade to 8GB of RAM as 4 is really lackluster.

In this pricepoint, however, you should really be looking at the used market. buying new just isn't really in the cards if you want a good gaming experience for this amount of money.

What makes you think this is a troll... nothing about it seems un reasonable for someone who wants to build their own pc on a tight budget.

Would help to know what your overall budget is? Easier to recommend best price for performance if we know how much we have to work with.
