why wifi antennas gotta suck?

AdvancedKittyWarfer

Fucking asus had to have intergrated wifi on MoBo and had to use wifi antenna for some damn reason it sucks. Had problems every day not getting my full speed but now Im getting full speed after re connecting the damn thing and putting on top my case in vertical mode and get my 100 down but only 40 up?!?! I usually have 60-80mbps up. My data plan has 100 down and 80 up so? Even using 5GHz connection tho I thought it was weird it didnt just use ac wifi but I checked my router once more and it didnt have it.. Should I just get a 10m CAT6 internet cable for 15€?

Wired is always better than wireless - never expect to get the full data speeds of your router on wifi. however, if the router and your PC are fairly near eachother, and there isn't a ton of interference, you should be getting speeds within ~10-15% of your Ethernet speeds.

Wired are of course better than wireless. Either you can get a long enough CAT6 cable, or you could get those Powerline adapter if it's too far away.

WiFi is never going to be as perfect as a wired connection. It has nothing to do with ASUS. WiFi is very dependent on placement which is why you had problems in the past.

I get 12mbps down and less than 1mbps up on a WIRED connection because my isp is ass. Your wireless speeds are way higher even factoring wired being better. I can't even fathom why TF you mad.

wired will always be superior. wifi antennas should always be brought away from behind the pc, it can reduce signal integrity massively. thats why pci wifi adapters are imo worse than usb adapters, usb adapters can be plugged in front io or with usb extension cable easily and cheaply.
