I found a i7-3770 a Z77 board and a R9 290 4gb for 600 but prices are negocable and coulve traded stuff for it and I got the system in my sig for $375 but I couldve gotten a better system for a little more

That's a really bad price. you could buy a Ryzen 1600 (way superior) and an RX 580/GTX 1060 for that price.

AMD learned this too, in their Radeon Polaris release.

 

but they are winning now because the miners

The 290/390 you find now, were mining as well. Since before 470/480, they were the king of value.

I see, it wouldn't be a great ideal however. Waiting could be a better choice.

 

Also just want to point out that buying a "ex mining" GPU isn't a bad idea. I bought a 280X in 2014 that was being used for mining 24/7 and it lasted till I got my 480 with perfect efficiency.

wow but I have no working rig right now because in the middle of a RMA and my old system wouldve been good but the IMC is dead
