If you don't already have the RX 580s I wouldn't even bother. Called up a couple places and they estimated an average wait time, in the US, of 2 to 3 months.

Arghhh can someone stop mining!?

Back to topic: Looks good, however you should get a mobo for mining so that all GPUs can work properly from the PCIe slots

Yeah, I'm just curious... I'm not really going to invest unless if I get like a spare $200 to start.

Yeah I should probably change the motherboard and get native PCIE slots.

yea, id argue not worth it now spending 1200, you probably won't make a profit with diffculty increasing the way it is.

Huh, okay.

For a good board look at something like the TB250-BTC. It's got 6 PCIe slots and you can use the same PCIe x1 to PCIe x16 riser for all the cards.

So PCI to PCIe is bad, but PCIe to PCIe 16x will work?

Yah, PCI to PCIe is generally a crap shoot as to if the cards will work but PCIe x1 to x16 works perfectly fine :)

Cool, another question. Does PCIe 1x to 16x support Crossfire? Like would it work?

Unfortunately I don't believe it will, if I remember right it needs PCIe 3.0 x4 levels of bandwidth. Of course I've never dabbled with using converter dongles to go from x1 to x16 so maybe it could in theory work but I doubt it.
