Posted November 25, 2013 SeaSonic makes the HX650... You are only paying for a sticker (maybe support, but SeaSonic isn't that bad). Posted November 25, 2013 You should go with the seasonic they are very good PSUs
Posted November 25, 2013 The HX650 is made by SeaSonic. Quality is no different, you'd be paying more for the Corsair name, lower efficiency, and loss of full modular design and all black cables. Posted November 25, 2013 The HX650v2 is essentially the same unit as the Seasonic G 650RM (SS-650RT) internally but offer inferior connectivity (two PEG connectors vs four on the Seasonic for SLI/CFX support). The SS-660XP2 is a superior unit functionally and electrically. If you can get the Seasonic for cheaper, definitely get it over the Corsair. Posted November 26, 2013 I have actually been looking at that same Seasonic, myself. I've read a lot of positive reviews on this psu and it will probably end up in a new build soon. Good luck and let us know what you decide on.
