Ubuntu dual boot questions

So how do I dual boot an OS?

I have a windows 7 Install and I want to experiment with Ubuntu.

How do I get it to ask me which OS to boot into?
Can i have them on seperate drives?

You can have them on separate drives. On the Ubuntu website, click run alongside windows. Choose where you want to download. Reboot. You should then have a selection for Windows 7 and Ubuntu. Scroll up and down with arrow keys an press enter to select. Bam. Ubuntu.
