Overclocking will always improve FPS on any resolution. If you would like that extra FPS and trade in for a bump in temperature and power consumption, Go for it.

Do you have enough FPS? Is the lower-than-hoped FPS caused by insufficient performance on the CPU? If yes then overclocking is worth it. Otherwise, overclock your nvidia gpu / buy a better AMD gpu.

No reason not to if you already own it, be a massive waste to buy a unlocked i5 and Z270 motherboard to not use it (If you dont yet though, R5 would be a better option)

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.
