Ive currently had an inactive facebook account for years, id like to open it up again, but first id like to edit the account abit BEFORE the account goes live, Is there any way to do this or?

You could try contacting facebook support, but I doubt they would be capable of doing something like that.

Uh, just log in and set privacy to only you when you do modifications. Its not like it's hidden from other users, its just not active.
