what bitrate to use?

If I was to record a game with Geforce Experience in 1080p @60fps, what bitrate would you recommend to have a good video quality?

What bitrate for 1440p @30fps?

I've found the defaults to be quite good. You can probably lower it, but @AlwaysFSX would know more.

I've got mine at 50mbps for 1440p 60, and it looks fine

Around 20 mbps for 1080p should give decent results, and more bitrate won't improve things by much.

Same for 1440p, as 30fps will lower the amount of information enough to be about as difficult to compress as 1080p 60fps

I just crank it to max, then compress it with Handbrake afterwards

the drive i record to isnt the fastest but i set it to 30mbits for now
