How to use GPU fan header with normal fan?

So Im going to watercool my GPU and I want to use the fan header on my GPU to power my Corsair SP120 fan but the GPU Fan header is weird and isnt the standard size so I want to know if there is an adapter that I can use to make it so that I can connect it to my SP120.

Also, I cant use any of the ports of my motherboard to use for a fan curve because the ones Im not using for my CPU are kind of broken and cant be controlled or monitored.

There are adapters. Or you can solder it yourself from existing fan. As for adapters, something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/PartsCollection-Bundle-CB-32D-Adaptor-Converter-Cooling/dp/B01N11NBEI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1498058956&sr=8-2&keywords=2pin+fan+adapter
