cpu: 5930k

mobo: x99 asus deluxe

I know when you re manually Overclocking the voltage lock too your set value to stay stable but is there any way to re enable undervoltage when the pc is at idle? no point of running 1.3V when cpu idle at 1.5ghz, waste of energy

It doesn't really matter, it is not using more power when the CPU is not doing anything.

Anyway, it should still drop even if you use manual voltage as long as the C-states and EIST in BIOS are enabled.

If CPU-Z shows only the maximum voltage, check sensors in Aida64.

For me, CPU-Z always just shows maximum voltage if I am using manual. Aida64 shows it correctly.
