Budget Gaming Rig Recos

Hello World's Best Tech Forum (it's no brown nosing if it's the truth!),

 

So I'm trying to build a budget gaming rig for my friend that got me into streaming on Twitch and I was looking for some recos on a cpu and mobo.  He generally likes to play/stream retro games, but I figure that it's just because you can't AAA titles on a potato. So I was looking around eBay and I was looking at the i7 3820.  It's seems to have some decent performance clocking at 3.6 GHz and can turbo at 3.8GHz.  4 cores, 8 threads, and a decent price to boot, ranging anywhere from 60 to 120 USD.  Although, as I was researching the Socket 2011 mobo tend to be on the pricey side.  Any help/recommendations for a good budget cpu and mobo would be appreciated!  Thanks!

the socket 2011 motherboards will always be that expensive as they are slowly getting harder and harder to find.  My recommendation would be searching over website such as eBay and sending sellers offers in your price range and they might just be willing to get rid of it.
