Hello, so when I turned on my computer today I noticed that the mouse was invisible. It works in the bios but not in windows I have no idea why. I am using chrome remote to use my computer, I have tried to uninstall the device in the device manager and I have re  installed it. I tried to find the Elan tab in the additinal options in mouse and touchpad setings but its not there. How do I get my mouse back ? I tried the mouse on a diffrent computer and it worked perfectly fine, I tried a diffrent mouse on this pc and it didn't work.

well the hardware you are using for your mouse will have 0 impact on it's visibility in the operating system. Something is wrong with Windows. Do you have a backup you can roll back to?

Build: Intel S2600gz, 2x E5-2670, EVGA SC 1070, Zotac 1060 6GB mini, 48GB Micron 1333mhz ECC DDR3, 2x Intel DPS-750XB 750 watt PSU

Hello, so when I turned on my computer today I noticed that the mouse was invisible. It works in the bios but not in windows I have no idea why. I am using chrome remote to use my computer.

WINDOWS 10 pro 64 bit. I am using a chrome remote control from smartphone app on my pc/phone to use the cursor and it works.

AND I am using my pc through teamviewer with another pc. Works fine.

I do not have a laptop, I have a custom built pc with i5 cpu and gtx 1060 gpu

THINGS I HAVE TRIED
* Updating and reinstalling the driver in the device manager
* Plugging in a diffrent mouse
*The mouse works perfectly on a diffrent computer
* Mouse options -> Additional mouse options -> (Most guides says that there is a Elan tab where you can enable the device) This tab does not exist on my computer.
*Booted in to safe mode - this didn't enable the mouse.

Please is there anyone who can help me?

When powering, do not swipe the wallpaper up with a finger. Instead, click it with your mouse or touch pad (either will do). Then use the mouse again by clicking in the password field. (Do not simply begin to type the unlock code. Use the mouse first!).
Windows will launch into the desktop with a visible cursor.

My gpu is nvidia gtx 1060, Could this be because of the gpu ? I will make sure to update it.

And you say you can control the mouse with the chrome remote thingy? I'm thinking the computer might think that is a touch enabled device and disable the cursor. Maybe try disabling that? And see if something happens?

Umm okay. I will.
