Laptops are easier and more convenient to carry around to other people's houses.

Anyway, the only thing I'm worried about is the display setup. The laptop has one DP port and I'm not sure if the monitors you've chosen can do DP daisy-chaining. You can hook one up to the HDMI port, but it may not run at their native resolutions if there's not a 2.0 port somewhere in the mix.

I would only bring the laptop and mouse, plus, my friend has a similar setup w/ the skylake model and it works perfectly for him.

Ive already checked on that, and all of them should be daisychainable.

Seriously folks...

Because they're much better in terms of value/money, you can chose your own components (more personalized experience), and there's room to upgrade in the future. overall objectively better unless you need portability. we were just checking that OP really needed portability and wasn't just running off a laptop for fun
