Upgrading my computer

I am upgrading my computer and I am wondering which would be better for gaming and a little bit of streaming and I made a build from both brands 

Intel build

3GHz Ryzen and 4.2GHz Intel

Plus Ryzen is more suited for tasks which require more cores, where as gaming an i7 is good, but speed is better.

you can overclock it to 4.0 to 4.1 ghz easily.

Nobody buys a 1700 and keeps it at 3 ghz, are you insane?

AMD build is better. I really can't see a reason to buy intel now when you can get nearly as good framerates with double the cores for the same price on AMD.

Ryzen is better in basically everything than the comparable Intel CPU, except for pure gaming and single core performance. For basically any new software and games that support more cores/threads, Ryzen will win out. Also, it's a lot cheaper. 

 

Once X299 is out, the multi core CPUs will most likely whup current Ryzens, but at a much higher price.

For this gen, AMD.  Last gen, Intel had no competition. 

 

Fast ram patches AMD's IPC nicely.

Ryzen is better, espesically since you stream (7700k is only worth if only gaming).

Definitely go with Ryzen, they extra cores will come in handy since you plan to do a little streaming on the side, and can also help out if you wanted to also do a little bit of video editing.
