If it doesn't have the correct BIOS: nothing
If it does: normal stuff
Some 100 series motherboards got the BIOS update even before Kaby Lake was out that made them compatible with the 7000 series of CPU's. If it doesn't have it, you need to update it with a 6000 series CPU.
