laptop reccomendation

Should I buy asus e402ma/sa or asus e200ha ? Or recommend other alternative laptop for smaller and long battery life under 200 to 250 dollars.

Lenovo X220 or X230. Good performance, light weight, long battery life and eGPU support, among other things. Built like a tank as well.

it will depend, with Ubuntu yes, if you are willing to go used look at older ThinkPads( not very good battery life).

not very good battery life? bruh

 

x230 has like 6-7h screen on time with a 6-cell, even more with the overkill 9 cell and some optimisations in Windows

i am assuming OP will get them used, most of those laptops have been through a lot.

even used, this has been taken from /r/thinkpad where people buy x230s used..

and used laptops survive a lot, esp. thinkpads.

If you manage to get Ubuntu running, then yes you technically can multi-task and code on a Chromebook. You just wouldn't have an entirely positive experience with it.

AFAIK, they're some of the toughest not-explicitly-toughbook laptops out there. Even old XP ones still run fine, though they can't do much now.
