Selling an RX 470 to crypto miners on ebay

aprofile

I would definitely sell your RX 470 to get an i5. Skyrim will run so much better on an i5 than a G4400, though I imagine a G4560 might be enough too. But the game ran like crap for me when I had a straight dual core G3258 even at 4.4 GHz. I bet you'll do better than you're expecting considering how much ethereum has shot up in price this last month or so. If so, I'd get the GTX 1060 6GB. But man, definitely cash in during the bubble.

Going from 470 4GB to 3GB 1060 is more of a sidegrade and not really a good sidegrade in the long run imo. Bare minimum you should aim for GTX 1060 6GB.

Yeah. think I'll get a 1060 and i5-6500. Not sure whether to get the 6gb model or 3gb model. A 3gb model is £40/£50 cheaper where I live and there are minimal performance gains from what I have seen. I can get this GPU (6GB model) but £235 seems like a lot to me https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/7RKhP6/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-windforce-oc-6g-video-card-gv-n1060wf2oc-6gd and I can upgrade to an i5-6500 for £75 so I would be spending £310 but getting back about £300 so only really spending £10
