Setting Up A Retro Gaming Laptop,Would Love Some Suggestions On Games To Get.

I am setting up a really old laptop to be a for retro gaming. 

 

It has a Intel Pentuim M 1.7Ghz CPU, 512MB RAM(1 stick),and a ATI Radeon Mobility 9700 128MB,and a 60GB HDD.

 

With these specs i am thinking 2003-2004 or older games.

 

Would love any suggestions you have for game to look for and track down for this old thing.

 

I do know i will already be getting StarCraft 1,and i already have Diablo 2 LOD.

Get the GameBoy Advanced emulator! Used to love the games on that. There are some really good Zelda/Pokemon games on there.

I already planned on that,i also am getting a SNES one an N64 one,and i am going to TRY a PS1 one also because a friend has a copy of Spyro that i am going to buy from him.

do it have to be old games? or are new indie games in an 8-bit style good as well?

I would consider them as long as they will run on this old POS lol.

Retro city rampage is great. Played this a while ago, some sort of 8-bit style GTA game. Binding of isaac is not retro, but might run. Shadow warrior classic redux is great.Duke Nukem 3D, Blood: One Unit Whole Blood, old GTA's? Carmageddon, really old serious sams. etc etc. Not sure if any of those will run as i dont have time to check atm. But great games for sure!

Comander keen, Secret Agent & first Doom 1 & 2 are good classics. Bringing back some good childhood memories.
