Third Party software for RGB headers?

I have a cablemod RGB strip and the MSI Mystic Light software that comes with my motherboard is fairly limited, is there another software that I can use to control them? Could I use a program from another motherboard manufacturer? (ASUS or Gigabyte)

It's not possible since the software is specific to a certain board and without support from the manufacture there will be no third party software available.
