Will my 600w PSU be enough for this or will it be cutting too close?

I was also wondering since the Core clock setting on the 1080 ti is set to 1683mhz, is this Wattage calculator including the boost clock which would be around 1960mhz or even more?

My results were:

 Load Wattage:480 W
Recommended PSU Wattage:530 W

I have also provided an attachment with all of my selections.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks for your response. Do you think I would have any headroom for overclocking the GPU. Power limit, core clock, Temp limit but leaving the voltage untouched.

Probbably a little bit, but you would be pushing it.

What are the actual specs of your PC? The Outervision calculator is a complete pile of garbage and should never be used. Look up Guru3D reviews of your hardware for a real demonstration of your system's power draw under load.

EDIT: I just saw you chose a 6700K and a 1080 Ti. So no, a 600W PSU will not be stressed if it's of decent quality. What PSU is it that you're looking at?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

No choice in PSU yet?

I'd recommend an EVGA 650G2 since you can get those on sale on Amazon for about $79. 650W allows you to overclock both the CPU and GPU with 200W+ to spare.

I just bought a MSI gtx 1080 ti Sea Hawk X w/ the cooler built onto it. Just wanted to make sure my 600W PSU would be enough on my current rig.
