Most people will have at least 1-2 hard drives, and their boot drive and OS saved on a 2.5" SSD or an M.2. You bought a motherboard that was never intended for a compact form factor. Like I said you should look into M-ATX or M-ITX mobo. I don't know how many years until that becomes super cheap. But maybe then people would want ATX motherboards without SATA. And have super mass storage on an external hard drive with USB 3.0 . Yeah, that'll be like 6+ years away probably, and I even use two 525GB 2.5" SSD's in raid 0 for super fast data transfer but not for actual storage. Even Sata SSD storage isn't priced well enough for the consumer market to use it for primary storage. Nevermind the fact that you can get hard drives in 10TB capacities and the most you can in SSD's is 4TB. Posted February 9, 2018 (edited) I wanted exactly the configuration you are discussing but could not find one. So I built one from scratch in my workshop. Check out the pics. It is full size ATX mother board and PSU. Has space for full size graphics cards. Two 140mm front fans. Rear 120mm fan. NO Drive bays. I just use M.2. And have room for an SSD if I need it. Carbon Fiber side pannels! I can configure it to any size if you needed one with Front or top rads. I can mike more but they are not cheep.
