Posted May 28, 2017 Hi Guys, Im getting: Corsair Hydro Series H90 140mm Liquid CPU Cooler Corsair Carbide Quiet 400Q Compact Mid-Tower Case Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W Power Supply reusing the parts from my old Comp Maximus VIII Hero MB Intel Core i7 6700 16gb Ram. With a MSI Corsair GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Hydro GFX Liquid Cooled 11GB or MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk X 11GB Hybrid Now, I was thinking of putting the radiators at the front in a pull configuration with the fans exhausting the hot air out the back. Posted May 28, 2017 Personally I have always rolled my CPU Radiator on the top, exhausting the air out the top with Cooler air being brought in the front. I don't typically like to put radiators in the front since this /can/ raise temperatures inside the case which would cause things such as GPU temperatures to rise. Posted May 28, 2017 I'd use top for CPU and if possible GPU rad as well (have two 120/140mm slots so may be possible) and if not top for CPU rad and rear for GPU rad, then front for cool intake only. I've mounted rads on case intakes and while cpu/gpu temps didn't seem significantly affected, cpu vram temps did go up measurably and consistently, with small increases in drive/mb chipset temps, all components that don't have direct and close proximity cool airflow from fans. Posted May 29, 2017 GPU runs hotter than CPU. Mounted in the top the GPU will affect CPU temps. Mounted in the front, CPU will not affect GPU temps. Put it in the front as intake.
