1000$ CDN Budget to build a decent pc any help ?

So I am planning on building a new PC and i have a budget of  1000$ CDN. I am mainly going to be using it for video editing and some light gaming.  Any suggestions?

Man, prices are screwed in Canada! A 1050 Ti on a $1K build? But I don't really see any way to spend less, other than getting rid of the SSD(but then you lose those sweet, sweet load times). I'd try and squeeze in an RX470 or RX480/580 if possible.

OP only does light gaming so 1050TI is fine, moreover prices are screwed in Canada as you said.

 

Some software benefit from CUDA rendering so I put a Nvidia GPU in the list.

Good point. And the better CPU will help more than a more powerful GPU on the video editing end.
