So this whats happening im going to college and my grandpa asked me since im going to college at laptop i want. Sass ll he said was to keep it under 3,000 im thinking a razer blade or a origins custom laptop

avoid razer, they have poorly engineered overpriced machines, look at something like msi vr stealth or aero 14. what are you studying in collage?

Not to mention, with your budget you could comfortably fit a decent ultrabook for college portability and light work, and still save enough to build a kick-ass PC for gaming/editing work at your college dorm or house.

Don't go for those overrated and highly priced manufactured laptops.

Go for this kind of custom built laptop with a company that has gotten numerous awards for their laptops from independent computer labs.

On what planet is that a decent desktop pc ? Why on earth would spend $$$ on an R7 1700 and X370 board and then put a shitty gpu in there ?

 

Also what is the random Noctua AM4 bracket for ? I don't see a cooler anywhere.
