For some reason, Speedtest.net keeps thinking I'm on Verizon DSL instead of Verizon FioS. I'm also only paying for 25 upload too. This is $85/month, but with the preferred HD tv package, the total bill is $150.

They accidentally gave us 75/35 mbps speed when we first moved in, and I was actually getting ~83 mbps down. Either way, we're happy with the service no matter what. Verizon FiOS is second only to Google Fiber in the US from what I know.

Time Warner recently upgrade my internet from 50 down 5 up to 300 down 20 up thanks to Google fiber coming to the neighborhood (Austin, TX).  It didn't cost me a penny more and the way I knew was FedEx delivered a new modem to my door and a thank you for being a valued customer letter.  I was pleasantly surprised since Time Warner and customer care / support are two things that do not go together whatsoever.  Which makes me happy because finally they got a kid on the block that can challenge them when it comes to ISPs.  Before this you had 2 other choices that were crap and crappier (unless you lived in very specific spots in town) or wanted to spend BIG bucks.
