I think Canadians get ripped off, 60$ a month for this. 

Haha, try AUD$70, ($67 Canadian) for 0.5/0.3 in Australia.

The insane speeds are FTTH?

 

Most of them yeah, altrough I have cable and get plenty of speed. Still faster than some fibre connections from what I've seen.
