PCIE Lanes

HI guys, I might need help. Here's my problem. I own a z170 asus motherboard (maximus viii hero) with a i5 6600k. I want to put a m.2 in it. Currently, i've got a GPU (980Ti) on the pcie x16 (CPU lanes) and a wifi card into a x1 (PCH) motherboards lanes. Will I be able to add my m.2 lanes (pcie gen 3 x4) knowing DMI supports only x4 lanes.

yeah dmi has basically 4 lanes of bandwidth but is separate from the rest of pcie lanes

So will I be able to run GPU, Wireless Card and M.2 at the same time ?

Check your motherboard manual for PCIe configurations.

If necessary usually the motherboard will reduce the GPU to 8x for more lanes to other cards.

This will not affect GPU performance.
