[Build Log] Silverstone FT03-Mini: Gold Dust (Linus Inspired!)

Lavin
I'm back again with one of my favorite builds! This one was inspired by Linus's video. Once the video was over, I immediately bought the case and the rest of the parts needed for the build. I built this system for my wife and it was definitely fun. I enjoyed sleeving this system, although I didn't get to do it on the CPU cooler. Didn't want to risk cutting it then breaking warranty! However, I had plenty of fun and this has been one of my best builds. This thing runs on a SINGLE Air Penetrator fan that came with the case.

Idle Temps: 35~

Load Temps: 61~

GPU Idle: 45~

GPU Load: 75~

I expected the GPU to run a bit warm as it's the single fan cooler. I chose this cooler due to the layout of the case, otherwise I'd have picked up the ACX.

Video Card:  EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card  ($267.55)

For a case that small, you surely did a pretty good job with the cable management. And that graphics card looks really nice with its dual tone grey accent. Why not push pull with the rad?

Nice build. :)

This build is unreal. It's a great inspiration for mini-ITX builds and the FT03-mini is a case that deserves more credit! I hope my mini-ITX build will look as great as yours.

Ha, those cars almost make contact ! What temps are you getting in there ?
@Lavin: Nice pictures man, that 760 looks pretty good in there. Now image that side had a window just to see the card.

Hey, thanks guys! This case has gone through a few iterations but I totally love it! I'll update it with newer updated cables as well!

did you sleeve those cables your self?

Yes, I did sleeve the cables myself. :) I'm a sleever and I've sold my sleeving services to many people now. Check out my work here! :) http://lavins.imgur.com/

are those 2x92mm fans enough for the case with SLI in it?

That is a small form-factor PC done right! Words can't describe how awesome this tiny build is! :D

It's not too bad. The top card will always be hotter in SLI, but due to this config, it's going to be more so. Water cooling is pretty much the best option when it comes to SLI in this case.

that's nice honey

Hey, thanks for sharing! I like this build, but it'd look better if it was water cooled. I personally love seeing watercooled mATX FT03s.

How much do you charge for sleeving? I'm getting in a new PSU and I'd like to get someone more experienced to do it for me.
