Hi. I had installed a Windows update a few nights ago, (sorry, I forget which update it was,) and when I got back to my computer later that night, it had gone to recovery. I tried to let it continue to boot to Windows, it loaded, but right before the login screen it bluescreened. I was very upset and after the bluescreen, it restarted and went back into recovery. I have been using my USB ISO Windows on it but it says to unplug installation media and restart to start Windows normally, but Windows doesn't start. I tried to do automatic recovery and there is no restore point and I can't reset it to before the update was. I tried booting into safe mode but it takes SOOO long to log in, and when it does, it is so slow the settings can't even open. I tried to go to control panel to uninstall and I press uninstall and wait 5 minutes but nothing happens! What do I do?

You need to unplug everything except your USB and OS drive, then enter the bios and set your USB to the top boot priority, then save changes and restart and it should boot into the installation USB.

Also, this USB should have been recently made using the media creation tool, do not use the original USB that you bought.

Did you mean creators update, or are you in the insider preview?  The last 3 insider previews have many problems, one of which is that the settings button doesnt actually work for some people.  You can get around that by clicking on cortana and hitting the settings button in there.

Oh yeah, It is the creator's update. But I can't get into anything on the taskbar like Cortana or the notifications

Or overheating and crashing altogether

it seems that you havent yet fixed this issue. so first off: im not sure if you have more stuff you would want to try and backup elsewhere in the computer other than users folder, i dont know where you keep all your files. but only thing you can do to fix that issue at this point is a reinstallation. dont worry a fresh OS is a nice thing.. while it lasts(inb4 another windows update)
