Company desktops for cloud enviroment

I am theorizing 3 pc's for this startup of a friend, most work will just be done in the cloud but they also need to do some stuff locally or just as backup for when the cloud is offline (its local and all refurbished, and there is no backup server because shit's expensive and not really needed, they do make backups though). i'm not even in the same country so i am not actually putting them together myself.

Usecase: company cloud clients / workstations.

Types of load: client to server (PXE is a must), people coding, writing reports, libre calc(opensource excel), database management, nothing too special.

its very important that the ram is upgradable. prices for ddr4 ram already increased 17% so they can't afford a lot now but probably do want to upgrade it in the future for big database editing etc.

all parts are ordered from the netherlands, use https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/?highlightCat=14#highlightCat:14 if you want to change parts.

the budget is €985 with VAT (21%) €815 without VAT.

here's the part list:

PSU: Seasonic S12II Series 430W (€49.95)
Case: Zalman T2 Plus (€31.90)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm 64mb cache (€51.90)
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 Boxed (€62.95)
MOBO: ASRock B250M-HDV (€72.85)
RAM: Crucial - DDR4 1 x 8 GB - DIMM 288-PIN - 2133 MHz / PC4-17000 - CL15 - 1.2 V (€58.90)
Total: €328.45 (with VAT) €271.45 (without VAT)
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

If this is for a buiness, id call up dell and juy buy a low end optiplex. Your paying a bit more for support, but if something goes wrong, the dell guy will be there in the next day to repair it.

FOr the build, id get a ssd. Its so much better.

you dont need 1tb if you are primarily using cloud applications, I would go for a similarly priced ssd

Broke 14 Year old + No job + Love for Technology = Bad combo :(

we need a lot of local storage in the future, ssd is just upgrade path since otherwise you end up with a very bad ssd for 50 bucks.. there is no room in the budget for 70 euro ssd and that is the price for lowest of low end 120gb ssd's(unless you want to go sata300 lol). anything smaller and it will limit workflow, it was either a lot of storage or a super small ssd from a shady brand.

and no optiplex wouldn't be a solution since thats completely out of budget, and the company can do maintanance internally. downtime isn't a problem so no work done for a day or two isn't really that bad.

If you going with just a clould client system, id probalby just get used laptops instead. Look at a dell e6420. There faster and can be brough with you and have docking station for the desk.

the budget is tight they value warranty over performance unless its an incredible difference. (second hand server literally saves them thousands and they have a warranty for 31 days atleast)

But its also a laptop... And most have short warrantys

Also if you care about warrantys why are going diy, if you want support you go buy a optiplex.

why would they need laptops? they have no use in being mobile. laptops are just out of the question, they don't want them.
