I'd probably swap the motherboard for a full ROG branded one, maybe get a 2nd GTX1080ti because yolo, other than that fine, maybe consider faster memory too, 3600+

Yours faithfully

I would go ROG if I find a not red one. And i figured going 1080 ti in the future as a single one can max out most games at ultra 100 ish frames

Seems like a waste of money to do that. At 1440p a GTX 1080 TI will be plenty.

The Maximus IX Formula and code aren't red, they're black and grey.

Not really he just wants to be different and red and black color theme is NOT different.

I might swap your CRYORIG out with an AIO or a Custom loop ill see which he would prefer

And i also might get faster ram for him maybe 3200 or 3600

AIO won't give you a significant temperature drop compared to air cooler, custom loop is expensive but the aesthetics is excellent
Intel CPUs (and some games) don't benefit from faster RAM speed so faster RAM isn't worth it

Intel CPUs have always benefited from faster memory, just not as much as Ryzen.
