Can we have a feature that automatically deletes topics with "Ransomware" in title?

That's why it might be automated

but has moderators to write up questions which would take far more time than to remove it

Write 3 questions about something -> Have a bunch of topics dealt with automatically -> safe time deleting those -> Profit. It all depends on how many topics you can filter out with your 3 questions I guess

This isn't a serious suggestion, as you probably figured. I am just soooo annoyed by all these people asking the same thing and creating useless topics

Thats about half of all topics posted. On serious note though, same thing happens everytime there's something bigger happening in tech world. Win10 Creators update was the one before this, Ryzen launch before that. The Nvidia GPU issue was one etc.

How about updating one existing topic without creating an army of new ones?

That also is thing. You report post and it gets merged into original. Exceptions being threads with more specific related issue. But doing such things automatically is as hard as having curse word filter. You'd need database of keywords and every time there is something bigger, new list needs to be made. Just report them. Merging is almost as fast as moving stuff around.

-Lack of text aside from above -

Staying the f#ck away, I presume?

What you're asking for requires hours and hours of coding and testing to bear any fruit. Better to just let your mouse skip the topic then to create a whole other issue with the forum software.
