If your PC can't reach your modem/router, get one

Edit: I don't recommend USB wifi adapters unless you're using an ITX board

I would suggest you go for wired instead. Cat5e or Cat6 cable is very cheap.

CPU not overclockable, mobo not overclockable
You can OC the GPU but make sure you know how to OC it safely

You didn't, but you were considering getting a WiFi card, so I assumed you have money left :P. I think powerline adapters are not much pricier than decent WiFi cards. Unless you did buy a WiFi card already.
