Which laptop should I buy out of these 2?

and the only difference I guess is the harddrive storage and the colors, and the release dates of them. One coming out in Q3-4 2016 and one in Q1 2017. (gold one q1 2017), I can't seem to find any other differences out there except the different reviews from Amazon, saying the black/silver seem to degrade faster according to reviewers, and the golden just seem to have got bad reviews cause of clueless buyers. Anyway which would you pick/go for?

 

The newer model, the gold one, with a 256 gb SSD or the older model, the black and silver one, with a 128 gb SSD storage device and a extra 1 TB 5200rpm hdd.

I'd personally go for the one with the 1TB hard drive + 128GB SSD especially if you're going to have multiple games installed on it. 256gb is probably enough if you don't play many games but it can fill up quite quickly if you do.

Option 1 as 875GB~ of extra space is always helpful...

Depends on what games, I mean GTA 5 will eat up 50-60GB so...5 huge triple As would easily take up more than 256GB

seeing it has a Intel HD 620 I figure I won't play heavy GPU games like Ark, Tomb Raider, CoD, Battlefield, GTA V, NFS.

I would go with the 256GB SSD model and get an external HDD for the storage.

I bought the 128gb + 1tb model cause the price increased on the 256gb ssd now.
