Hi,

My mums computer failed once again...

She has been using a laptop for many years now and after the harddrive failed again she has decided that she wants a raid system. The computer is used for all business related things like MYOB, Excel, Word etc.

The budget is $1000 but would be great to be around $800 and could also be exceeded if the benefits were worth it. This budget needs to include computer, monitor and mouse, also already have 2 x 500gb HDD and mouse

I am also from Australia

No OS is needed but will be windows 8 or 7

I have built many gaming computers but no work ones so just wanted a bit of help with picking parts.

Also what do I need to do Raid 1?

Thanks heaps

My recommendations: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/24P60

Support for onboard raid 0, 1, 5, and 10.
