i7-6700T or i5-6500 (which one for a gaming build?)

Hello all!

 

I have been building some machines and I have these 2 CPUs spare. I am going to build a machine to sell. I understand that many people say "you don't need an i7 for gaming". I get that, but been as I have these, which one would be preferable if you were buying a PC if they were being sold at the same price.

 

So from that perspective... I need some help!!!

that's BS, get the best CPU and GPU you can afford when buying a system, i5s are outdated since ryzen 1600 came out. go for the 6700t, it will be better.

Many people say it though! - Have the angle that it will be great for multi tasking too.

go for the 6700t or get a ryzen cpu, i5s are not worth it.

As I said I have both of these. Twice over to be fair, so 4 in total. So think the bigger builds will get the i7-6700T then
