Background:

  1. Had a full ATX build with i5-6600 and GTX 1070 in Fractal Design Define S
  2. Sold GTX 1070 since I got too busy for gaming (final year in university)
  3. The case is now very empty but very big and bulky
  4. Decided to move to ITX build instead since I'll be moving frequently in near future after graduation
  5. Want to know which m-ITX case would be good given my circumstance

Below is the specification for the new ITX build I'm planning for

  • CPU: Intel - Core i5-7600 3.5GHz Quad-core Processor
  • CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper TX3 Evo (Reused from previous build)
  • Motherboard: Asus H170i Pro
  • Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 (Reused from previous build)
  • Storage: Sandisk - SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Reused from previous build)
  • Storage: 2 x Western Digital Blue 1TB (Reused from previous build)
  • Power Supply: SeaSonic - 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular (Reused from previous build)
  • Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit (Reused from previous build)
  • Video Card: GTX 1060 (will be added on if I decide to pick up gaming again)

Below are my requirements about the m-ITX cases:

  1. Must be able to handle air cooling well (liquid coolers are expensive and unnecessary for me)
  2. Must be big enough to fit the parts comfortably with decent airflow but must not be too big
  3. Must be able to handle minimum of 1 SSD and 2 HDDs with decent cooling for the drives
  4. Must not be absurdly expensive
  5. Preferably more common brands like Corsair, Fractal Design, etc as my country doesn't have much variety
  6. Preferably have minimalist design like Corsair 250D (I'm not a fan of mesh designs like CM Elite 110)

Thank you for the quick recommendation!

Would you recommend any other case with more of a cube-like design like other ITX cases? I'm looking to place my new build on my desk and I would prefer if the case is shorter in height so that it won't obstruct my vision too much haha. (The reason for putting it on my desk is because I realised putting it on the floor introduces too much dust and my current ATX build is too damn big to be placed on my desk comfortably)

Apologies for being such a picky bastard HAHA

Look into Silverstone Sugo. I prefer SG13, not too expensive yet small in size

Thank you everyone for your recommendations but I'd like to bring your attention to some of my requirements as many of the cases suggested don't quite fit my requirement. :( Considering the factors above as well, what case would you recommend?
