Please help me with psu watt calculation for my pc...

-Intel® Core™ i7-950 Processor

-Intel® Desktop Board DX58SO

-12GB RAM - (4gb*3 Nos)

-Radeon™ RX 470 Graphics Card

-3* 120mm case fan

-Hard Driver 7200 RPM (1TB)- 3 nos

-DVD Writer

The actual amount of power that system will use is less than 250W from the unit. You would probably want to start with a unit at least as decent as a Corsair CX450M or Seasonic S12.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

A current gen i7 + 1080 Ti will run fine on a quality 500w unit, single gpu set ups will always need <601w psus

intel forum says there is a problem with 500-600w psu .

You can always go here http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/ to figure out how much you need.

From your parts listed, youd need about a 400 watt, surprisingly. https://gyazo.com/8a7abe15272116d2ee3ad19b10ca559c

First thing was that post is from over 7 years ago.

Normally if you have a good psu, the next most likely part to fail is the motherboard.
