I agree. Both Lenovo's Yoga lineup and Dell's new XPS 13 scream amazing value for the money, along with the tip-top build quality one expects from both companies. They're at the higher end of your $700 USD budget for sure, but well worth saving up a couple hundred more for in the long run.

Any screen size and any brand. SSD not needed, but good if can get one with it for under 700 USD. Mainly surfing the web and office stuff. ?

Then you can get a cheap China branded 2 in 1 for about RM1000-1500 (if you don't mind China brand)

To be honest, I'm sourcing for 2-in-1s for my friend, and he's your "average consumer" who cares about having a product from a reputable brand and relies heavily on after sales services and warranties. So, what reputable brand do you recommend? Thanks!

In Malaysia? Acer or Dell good, Lenovo support is mediocre, HP and Asus support sucks based on what I heard, I dunno about China brands.
