Ok so I had an idea of what I wanted but some wise men on the forums pointed me in a better direction. Here's what I'm looking at.

My max budget is 500$.

I need to order tomorrow or the day after.

  • I Live in the US.
  • I am building for using cad software and occasionally playing games like arma and bf4.
  • I am planning on upgrading cpu and gpu.
  • I want to tinker with overclocking the gpu.
  • I already have peripherals.
  • I will be using Windows 10.

Thanks

Alright, let's nitpick:

A G4560 is going to have a really hard time keeping up with what you're asking. My real recommendation is to go out and find yourself an H81 motherboard, 16GB of DDR3 RAM and a Xeon E3-1231V3 instead. It'll be pricier...maybe buy the RAM in stages? It'll be worth every penny, though. The 1231V3 is an i7-4770 without the integrated graphics, and if you've got a GPU in the budget anyway, who cares?

Kingston SSDs are godawful. The one that came built into my Acer 2-in-1 barely outpaces a 7200RPM hard drive on startup after about 1.5 years of light, occasional use (I really should sell that laptop, tbqh).

The GTX 1050 Ti is a pretty poor choice with the RX 470 and 570 out there. If you have power draw or size concerns, it's a solid bet, but a 470 will handily beat it in most games. Arma and BF4 need that horsepower.

The SPEC-01is a decent looking case, but you've got a Micro ATX motherboard. Nothing wrong with putting a mATX board in that case, but you can save a few bucks and get a system that will end up looking better by going to a mATX case.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
