anyway, i completed it years ago and have hundreds and hundreds of hours logged on the game. the only thing kind of disappointing was the civil war questline. so boring and generic!

 

luckily people made mods to fix that

yea the civil war qestline if boring as fuck.

 

The reason it's still going strong is the modding community, as that's why I keep going back to it. I means those mods are fun, as they let you do anything from having a better HUD to have more beat the shit out of people, or new SFW quests/activities to more questionable/NSFW quests/activities :P

If there's going to be any policy that restrict you to mod skyrim though, i don't think it would be beneficial to all sides, the game developer, the mod creator and the game user themselves.

Wow you got the gist of it in the first try. Guess what else is coming up?

 

Edit: Though I think its good that this is happening. I foresee that this will lead to a set of certain terms and conditions and permissions that will automatically be on all mods uploaded to a new website. We'll have an uprising of modders who respect the "free" community. And mod users who respect the work of these people.
