Temperature

It all depends on your personal preference and what temperature you feel is safe for your card to hit. I'm an absolute "no damage to my cards" person so I have a fairly aggressive fan curve cough100%at70ccough...

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.

Desktop

It dies at anything above 100c, but I wouldn't be comfortable with it being anywhere over 85-90ish

Although it really shouldn't be a problem unless you try to overclock with a reference card or something stupid like that.
