Wrong section, and what is your definition of overclocked?

If you mean going over the voltage/amp limits of the motors to produce more power - the answer is yes.

If you mean overclocking the (arm?) processor responsible for the screen for a smoother experience - the answer is also yes.

Technically since it is an electric vehicle, code is all that limits your acceleration and max speed until the parts themselves stop giving more.

It seems like tesla is already pushing it to it's limits though. it has pretty damn impressive acceleration.

Depends on the model and package. There was one package that was a code improvement along with some minor body changes released after a year. I think it was the D-series of packages.

I mean, of course it wouldn't be piece of cake, and i admit my ignorances on both gpu/cpu/ram Oc'ing and tesla cars at all.

But isn't it much similar the way voltage speeds up a ram than a motor?

Hi!

They surely push them to the limits, but they care about power consumption (obviously and fortunately)... but it might be possible, right? :D

Well the only real area it matters in is acceleration, where tesla really pushes everything to the limit already.

in normal driving, you can't improve the efficiency of the engine.

 

you might be able to increase the top speed, but you'll never get that fast anyway, so who cares.

Probably yeah if you modified the code, but couldn't that be like, dangerous? You might draw too much current from the battery or it might be more than the motors are designed for or cause too much heat or...
