Do you have a nas or where do you store your footage and how much

I use premiere pro 2016.

My NAS has 5TB usable storage. I have to delete the raw footage for my 4k videos.

When I edit i move my footage to my SSD, Its a 512GB SATA SSD. (I dont have m.2)

What PSU do you have? You might be able to keep it.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Or this:

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

If your just doing this for school your current system will work fine. Just use proxys(included in the import settings) and your can edit any res of video on junk hardware.

But for the upgrade, this is what id get, I know its over your budget, but for your budget you can't really get much of a upgrade

Don't down scale, use the create proxy on the importance settings. You won't not a difference editing and it will be much smoother. Set it to Cineform.
