I need to get a new AIO for my current computer as the pump is starting to go bad on it and I believe its out of its warranty. I'm looking for something around the 100 to 200 dollar range when it comes to that with good performance to noise ratio.

The case I currently am using is a Fractal Design R5 with support for the following:

  • Front – 360, 280, 240, 140 and 120 mm radiators of all thicknesses (requires removal of drive bays)
  • Top – 420, 360, 280, 240, 140 and 120 mm radiators. (A thickness limitation of 55mm for both radiator + fan applies on 420, 280 and 140 mm radiators) (420 and 360 mm radiators require removal of the ODD bay)
  • Bottom – 120 or 240 mm radiator (Use of radiators in the bottom position limits the PSU length to 165 mm)
  • Rear – 120 or 140 mm radiator

I'd prefer to use the top so a 55mm combined (Fans and the rad itself) rad would be preferred. Thank you for your time if you choose to help me. ^^

How does it compare to Corsair's offerings like the H110 or H115i?

Similarly bad software, both the H115i and X62 hardware are from the same OEM, just with different aesthetics bolted on top.

I have had many corsair AIO fail, haven't had my X62 fail yet, but only had it for about 6 months.

i would say the corsair coolers will be a better choice, i currently use an H55 with no problems, but with your budget you could go for one of their better models

And I already have a HUE+ system from NZXT would I be able to sync the two together if I got a X62? And I'm trying to look at many options as possible but unfortunately most of comparisons I can find are outdated. :c

The X62 uses the CAM software, not sure if they sync but should be able to be controlled in the same program at least. The software regularly has issues with losing connectivity to the cooler for me, the previous owner of my X62 had same issue, and NZXT didn't resolve it and the store refused to refund, so they gave it to me as it was too annoying for them. Every time I want to change the lighting on the cooler I have to open up the case, unplug the cooler, plug it back in, then restart the CAM software.

Sounds fairly annoying, luckily I haven't had that problem yet with the HUE but I do have some history with Corsair already. Using a H80i on a OC'd 4790k. It worked great before but either the coolant evaporated or the pump is going bad because the temps have been getting dangerously high. I could turn off the OC but it doesn't really solve my problem as its still very hot compared to when I first installed it

They do indeed sync, you enable "Sync mode" in CAM and that syncs one effect across all peripherals, I had a covering marquee synced across my Kraken x52 and HUE+ strips and it looked sick. Spectrum wave is always a good choice becuase #RGB
My Kraken has lost connectivity once, a reinstall of CAM resolved that and it hasn't happened again
Hope this helps

Recently my H115i failed after about 3 months of use, pump motor runs, coolant sloshes around but the doesn't recirculate through the radiator, possibly broken pump blade or blockage in the line. My 6900K was getting up to 105°C when it failed. I don't think I will get an AIO again in future, once the ones I have die I will replace them with air coolers and custom water cooling depending on the system.

X62 nowadays

Also does anyone know how thick the Rad is for the X62? Is it one I'm going to have to mount frontally?

30mm thick rad, fans are 25mm. You can mount it to the front or top (if motherboard allows).
