I know this is not necessarily what you said and I may piss you off going a little bit off-topic, but if you are willing to spend more like $200 you could keep it for much longer, like 20 years.  However, if you don't want to take risks, it being your first time purchasing a proper keyboard, you may want to go close to $60 so you know what types of things you generally like for next time.

Personally though, when I go get my first proper keyboard this summer, I'm gonna go straight for the $200 Das Keyboards Ultimate (Cherry MX Blue) because I am just that sure and have tried out my friend's Cherry MX Blue keyboard as well a little bit.

Hello saksham!

I cannot recommend the Corsair Vengeance K65 enough. I've been using that keyboard for such a long time, and it's amazing.

The size is perfect, it allows for better ergonomics and the red switches is perfect for gaming.

And the aluminum chassi makes it extremly sturdy. The detachable BRAIDED USB cable is also a very nice touch.

With the detachable USB cable comes the freedom to change cable should the included one break at any point.

I've never heard of the the Redragon K555 or any other keyboard from Redragon for that matter, so I cannot comment on their reliability.

But I would recommend to go with the Corsair K65, since Corsair is a well known company, and they have amazing product quality.

I'm not using a Corsair keyboard at the moment. But they're one of my go to guys when it comes to keyboards and mice.

I cannot say which one is better, but from experience I can honestly say the Corsair K65 is an amazing keyboard.

Most things comes down to personal taste. One thing to note is that the Corsair K65 uses Cherry MX Red switches whilst the

Redragon K555 uses green switches, which i have zero experience with.

The red ones however has a very nice click sound and they have a low actuation force, at 45 grams.

A small edit here after posting : I would recommend getting some o-rings to make the click sound softer.

Red switches have been marketed as a gaming switch, with the light weighting allowing for more rapid actuation.

And have become increasingly common in gaming keyboards.

The greens is a tactile, clicky switch with a very clean feel - often called the heavy Blue MX.

They have a slightly higher actuation point, at 80 grams.

I would recommend the red ones, everytime.

Hope this information helped.

I wish you luck in your search for your first gaming keyboard! :)
