Get that Intel 600p out and put Crucial MX300 525 GB

600p is bad as fuck. Even Jesus cannot save that SSD

How can I make a green M.2 not look so bad on my PC. Can I paint it? Will a 3D printed cover be able to cover it and go on my motherboard? If not is there any way for it not to look like crap.

If you're getting a 7600k I assume you aren't doing content creation anyways so nvme isn't worth it, it doesn't improve boot or app launch times.

Im pretty sure it increases windows start times and it does increase app start times.

Nope, incorrect. NVMe is only useful for prosumers.

Ummmm the m.2 version and the sata version of the mx300 perform the same. The m.2 version is just using SATA on the m.2 slot.

Well there is an m.2 version of the mx300 :P but it's literally just a SATA SSD stuck in m.2 form factor.

yeah but it doesn't matter. It's just a SATA SSD shoved into m.2 form factor, no performance difference at all.

Also, most people don't need NVMe and should get Sata drives instead (for almost all tasks the performance is identical). If you do need NVMe, don't get the 600p; in practice it's slower than many cheap Sata drives.
