I am considering building a PC to play some games on PC like Rainbow Six: SIege, BF1 and other FPS games. I do not want to spend more than about $1000 USD. The link to my PcPartPicker is https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kq72NN  I plan to use 1 Monitor (Listed) and the Keyboard and Mouse are also there.

Edit: I understand that an SSD would increase speed, but is it necessary for one now, or can I wait and add one later.

I would replace the PSU with a Seasonic S12II 520W. And don't get a locked i5 with a Z270 motherboard. A Ryzen 5 1500X or 1600 with a B350 motherboard would be a good choice as well. For gaming the i5 would be a bit better but the R5 can handle gaming as well but when it comes to recording, streaming, video editing and stuff like that the R5 beats the i5. Getting a 250 GB SSD would be a nice upgrade if you can fit it into the budget. And personally I would search for a GPU with a better cooler.

I love the way you have the Fractal Case and get a LG 25UM58-P then!
